Here's the story... My wife drives a 99 5.0 AWD and I have a 97 5.0 Limited. I have installed a Gibson catback on hers and on mine I have the same exhaust,(except for the 3 bolt flange on the 97) and on mine I installed a K&N conical filter without the air box. Now I would think mine would feel stronger, if only for the 2wd vs awd. I get in hers, and it seems so much stronger. It almost seems as if hers has a more agressive timming curve or something. Is the 99 a stronger engine/management package than the 97 or is it all in my mind. (I don't want to race her, cause I would never hear the end of it) :frustrate

Mabey differential gearing is different.
Nope, both 3.73... Don't want to go with a chip cause of gas prices (premium) and I drive about 65 miles a day.

Saw in Explorer Express a 75mm maf sensor with the mac air induction package. Think that would do it? Would like to find a set of headers for mine. NLA is what I find ...
