Ok so my truck has 3 tires right now that are very low on tread and in the one good tire i replaced 3 months ago today I picked up a screw(not leaking yet) but dont want a blow out ethier. So my question is what is a good altterain tire that won't be super loud on the highway i want something bigger then my current wrangler rt/s so whats out there for no more then $100 a tire.

have you tired looking at tires on tirerack.com?

they have lots of good all-terrain tires to choose from for under 100 depending on the size

what size are you looking at?

and if its bigger then stock i would suggest not stating that they are going on an explorer

lol yeah i did a search lol and it said that the explorer has very specific tire size lol , im guessing this is a "roll over" issue they think are explorers fault.
Ok i want bigger tires to fit stock rims with no lift that wont rub on wheel wells or suspension parts in a turn.

What measurement would I need to fit that rim.

31's should fit with nuthing but it all depends on the tire really, some tires of same "size" rub on fenders while others dont. i know my 31's on 10.5 rims rubbed (maybe bigger rims, not sure)

A search at the tirerack after listing the Explorer let me choose a wide variety of tires. 31X10.5/15 with no problems at all.

Ok getting tires tomorrow morning need some help its final that its tomorrow but not sure which ones? i need something good for dry, wet, snow, and sand want 31s that ppl know wont rub. or something close that def wont rub thanks alot everyone

Wal-Mart sells 31's for a decent price. I think it's a knock off brand

How do you get the different size tires? I have been trying for a year on Tirerack and I come up with the same 2 sizes as your 98 ex. 225-70-15 and 235-75-15.

On the page that lists those tire sizes just look above the line that says description / size and click on the link for custom size and it will list everything.
