Help; I've just rebuilt a 2000 3.0 flex fuel, replaced oil pump, water pump clutch,& plate, resurfaced flywheel, rings, bearings, new valve seats in the heads, put it together and no start? replaced coil pac, wires, plugs, no start? checked fuel pressure on rail (60 lbs. and holds) checked for real strong spark (with tool) no start? replaced crank sensor no start? just bought cam shaft syncronizer and sensor ( motorcraft OEM ) having technical difficulty in the exact place to put it, (have sensor tool) what I've read was 36 to 45 degrees counterclockwise from certerline of engine still no start? Or am I doing it correctly and there is another problem?

...you have spark and gas correct??? so you are able to crank it over???

...i myself know nothing on the 3.0's but until someone else jumps in...;)

no start condition

Yes it cranked over real strong and did get a backfire a couple of times ? but is there such a thing as 180 degrees out on the new stuff ( it's not like a distribter)
