I have a 2001 Explorer Sport and looking for a web site with good online parts diagrams. Does anyone know of a site? I've done some searching, but haven't had much luck.

Thanks!

fordparts.com is good as far as diagrams, and free.

If you need repair information with steps, diagrams, and torque specs then I recommend alldatadiy.com. It's a pay site but well worth the reasonable subscription fee.

Ford Parts can be a bit confusing to try and find all the diagrams though. Ford Parts Giant has them all categorized pretty well and easy to navigate. Also, if you go to Motorcraft Service Information you can get the factory repair manual for your Explorer. You can either view it online, order a CD, or order the books. Pricey, but those books have everything you need.

Ditto on FordPartsGiant diagrams. It's getting COMPLETE Ford part numbers that's difficult.

Awesome! I find this site easier to navigate. Unfortunately, it is still hard for me to see the exact part in question I'm looking for since it broke off at some point when the wife was driving and I have no idea what it is. Oh well...off to the dealer to get some help on this one.

I ordered the factory service manual. I have one for my Nissan Maxima and it has been invaluable!

This web site is already paying off. :)

We might be able to help with that too. Any details on it?

It is the parking brake assembly in the cabin. Something broke off which made the release handle loose and vibrating causing a lot of noise. The dealer showed the entire assembly would need to be purchased which is $150. No thanks to that...I did a cheap fix myself for 50 cents. Granted you not have to push the release handle back in, but it doesn't vibrate any longer.
