HOLY ****!!
Standing in at 23” tall, 369 pounds, and with 12,000 watt peak music power handling, you will be hard-pressed to find something that will get in the ring with this heavyweight.

I just may have to drive down to MTXs shop and listen to that bad boy!

They installed one on MTV'S Pimp my Ride if I recall.

Yes I remember seeing that episode. And I only watched it to see them install it and play it. They had to weld metal braced fram inside the car to hold the sub nad used 6k watts to power it. They put in a cheasy SPL meter in the dash for the owner. When they turned it on with both doors open, they couldnt sit inside it and the camera couldnt show you anything since the picture was so blurry. The camera man outside about 3 feet from the door, his camera was vibrating. I think it was 158db, but they didnt turn it all the way up and wasnt at full power.
I was impressed at this sub!! Not to many shops have seen it. I would like to hear one upclose! I still remember my buddies Mazda truck with a topper, walkthrough cab, 8 Solobaric 15's mounted in a clam shell type box, 10k watts from 10 Kicker ZR1000's, 8 optima's, 8 1.5 farad caps and 2 200 amp alternators. That truck was insane!! The trucks body (with doors closed and windows up) would buldge out when it hit. The windshield shattered once and flew out twice. It was his daily! Ohh the days of being young and dumb. I miss them.

I heard a car that's bass was so intense it distorted the voices of me and my friends as we were talking probably 50 feet from the car.

We were on our way out and I didn't stop to take a look. What's it take to do something like that? BTW, no music, it sounded like a tone of some kind.

This thread is definitely back from the dead! Wow. I listened to a van that had 48 solo baric 10 inch subs in it. I think it was sponsered by Dynamat or something, at Nopi a few years ago. That thing was loud. Close your throat up and make your hair stand on end.

Actually I think the 'hammer hit a whopping 130something decibles.. whoopdie doo! I think the blur was an edited effect fyi ;)

Yeah, well I saw/heard the loudest truck in the world! :p Scott Owens w/ his superduty, and if that wasn't enough, Team loud's Volvo from overseas.. both getting close to 180db on the termlab. No caps or Jackhammers in those rides.

it could of done better. I've hit over 130 with a single 8". West Coast Customs are complete idiots. But you couldn't pay me to put that piece of crap in my car. That thing doesnt play music it just makes noiae, lots of it. I'de buy like 4 15"s that sound good before I'de buy that.

I just read this thread an now im mad. If you watch the db meter in that car it hits a whopping 100.8dbs or something...... How many pieces of wood were used on his baffle? Looked like a massive 2 pieces of 3/4" mdf pasted together (could be wrong and am excluding the steel structure surrounding it). But yea srry for my about bringing up a dead thread.
