Hi guys.
Have an explorer sport 2017
I've changed IPC from type 2 to type 3 and have some questions.

Were you able to display the outside temperature on the panel? It just not working, but it works fine on type 2 cluster.
I tried to config a new cluster with forscan but no luck.
Maybe you can help with this?

Welcome to the Forum Yarik.
I can't recall whether the outside temperature is actually displayed on the Type 3 IPC. It should be shown on the Sync screen next to the time.
The picture (not the best) is of my previous 2017 Platinum.

On another car (Mondeo in Europe) it shows in the upper right corner on central display

So I thought Platinum firmware can do this, but actually, I cant set up it (

Never had the temperature displayed there that I can recall. Also, the layout within the tachometer and speedometer is different than what mine showed. It seems the displays are not quite the same.

Can be done Forscan in Easy Mode.

I see this thread hasn't been commented on for a year, but I'd like to know if anyone has been able to get the temp to show up on IPC Type 3 on a 2016 Platinum. It is only in Easy Mode on the lower-level IPC's but perhaps someone has made it work with FORScan and can post a pic. Thanks!

Is the display the one shown in post #45?
