overhead console in a 92 X first gen?

hey guys i know a couple of people were able to fit the overhead console in there 91-94, anyone put it in there 91 or 92? i know the 93 and 94s have the bracket in there already but anyone know how hard it would be to start from scratch? thanks

My understanding is that you can get the bracket and harness off a 93 or 94; then get the console out of a 93 or 94 Limited and you should be good to go. The cabs of all years 1991, 92, 93 and 94 are structurally identical. The only things you need are the wiring, the bracket, and the console itself. Otherwise it will all fit right up.
