Hi there. I have a 1993 xl and my front brakes have all of a sudden become overly sensitive. Not that they cry easily but when I barely touch them on snow or ice, the anti-lock motor kicks in, whereas before I used to be able to apply normal pressure on the pedal without the anti lock operating. I am wondering if the master cylinder could be bad or the anti-lock assembly? I searched the frame for a proportioning valve but could find none. Does the anti-lock assembly act as a proportioning valve? Brake pedal feels normal and I have not messed around with the brakes lately. Just curious if anyone else has had the same problem and come up with a solution. Thanks.
