Oversize oil filters?

I have read a lot about oversize oil filters over at http://theoildrop.server101.com/cgi/ultimatebb.cgi .

Has anyone used one? Opinions?

you are talking about the wix one right. all it really does is add 1 quart to yoiur oil capacity

The added capacity is what I want. Tell me more about this filter.

it is basically twice as long and has the same specs. as the stocker.
