Motorcraft and the basic Fram are about the same price but Motorcraft is vastly better. The upper level Frams are okay but then you're paying a premium to get a filter that is no better than a Motorcraft.
i was trying out the frams to save a couple bucks being that we have three cars that all get daily use and i do all of our maintainence, (except on our mini).
thanks, we pile the miles on our cars with our commutes but i just got me a little honda that im going to abuse on those commutes from now on and hopefully i can keep the miles down on my explorer from now on. no more fram for me though!
I knew the meaning, just have never used it myself. I'm not a fan of acronyms but I catch myself using them on here. Maybe I just need to give in. Or maybe I already have, based on my sig line.
ive been getting the supertechs from walmart, no problems with them, i would go motorcraft but i mean these do well. i run castrol gtx if your wondering that at all lol
