Hey everyone,
I've been noticing a rough idle on my 05 explorer / 4.0 SOHC for a while now but I just recently had my CEL come on. I hooked my OBD scanner to it and my o2 sensors are all working fine but i'm getting a rich / high negative reading on my fuel trim. Below are the reading:
STFT-B1 = 1%
STFT-B2=2%
LTFT-B1=-18%
LTFT-B2=-10%
Also, I've replaced all of the following:
Injectors and injector sleeves (all 6 of them)
Spark plugs - NGK TR55
Plug wires - Thundercore
Throttle body gasket
EGR Valve gasket
Intake Manifold gasket
valve cover gasket
heater valve
Oil pan gasket
Rear Main Seal
Entire timing chain assembly (chains,guides,tensioners,everything)
All of my hoses seem fine but i'm getting a rough idle and when I barely, and I mean barely, give it gas, it hesitates pretty bad. But as long as I give it a decent amount of gas it runs just fine. No stalls and no other codes
HELP!
