I just got myself an lower valance for my 94xlt i want it basically painted flat black to match the black accent in the bumper, and on the trim/running boards. What is the easiest way to do this? it seems kinda ridiculous to pay a lot for a flat black finish. Any advice would be great!

I would say just go to Wal-Mart and get a can of flat black spray paint.

If it is metal just scuff it with some sandpaper then clean it with a degreaser, and it will hold fine.

Well I don't know much about painting plastic. But if it chips off or anything, who says you can't repaint it? :) But it should hold fine.

They specifically make paint for plastics.. if not, they've got a primer made for plastic, and then you can spray paint on top of that.

Wash it down with simple green, scuff it up with green scotch bright, tack it off, wipe it down with PPG acryli-clean DX330, tack it off again.
Spray it with SEM 39863 Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
Paint it with rattle cans using SEM Color coat, Flexible coating.
Did all my vent visors, Cladding etc two yrs ago, is still in perfect condition.
The above are pro auto paint supplies, get um at an auto paint store.
