So I have the idea of painting my from to help with rust and to improve the look of it, wondering if anyone has done this and if u can post some pics, thanks
Just get a can of spray and go to town. I've done it before, not really a science and it improves the look but won't last forever....so then get another can and repeat.
well i was thinking going with rubber undercoat that would help protect it, I have seen some people paint them bright colors to make them stand out but idk.
Use a wire wheel on your drill to knock alot of the loose rust off then paint it with a couple coats of the rattle can. I did this with my 88 f150 and it still looks pretty good...just a touch up every now and again. If you want to keep the rust away try some POR-15.
paint won't help the rust much, but a coat of por-15 would. It's kinda expensive though.

You'd have to get a perfect coverage, with no holes, if not water can puddle between the frame and the ruber coat and eat your frame without you even noticeing, at least that's what I was told when I wanted to do that to my 97
