If I where to buy high heat spray paint, would it hurt the plug wires to paint them if I where to tape off the ends? How about other hoses and such?

It really wouldn't hurt them, but keep in mind you are painting a silicon flexable wire. As the paint gets hard it will probably just crack and start to peel and look nasty. A better solution is to use some colored wire loom to cover them, it is available in many colors including chrome colors.

oh, ok thanks. Will those be heat resistant enough for some of the hoses that get hot? Or the ones that run around the engine like the spark wires?

no wire loom will melt easily if not kept away from the exhaust.

on hoses it should be fine, as long as its not near exhaust

Yeah it will melt however....
Your wires really should be close enough to the exaust to melt the loom anyway. Silicon wires will be quickly ruined by close exposure to the manifolds. But i do realize there are certain situations where that is not always possible to have enough air gap.

On my SOHC the plug wires run along the back near the cam. Will this be ok? What about the heating and A/C piping?

Here's the engine in my 'Stang. It's a combo of electrical tape and split loom. Not the best picture.

Maybe you could use some high temp sleeving? I have seen some that can take up to 1400°.

Dude the mustang looks great!! I like the clean contrast of the Ford Blue loom
