dont know where they got that from.... Id like to see that article... no, the park doesnt flood, only a few streams are impassable at times.

first of all I can read it, second of all, there are 2 stream crossings.... they only close off about 5% of the park if uncrossable.. the photo shown is of rock swamp, I we were out on that trail in Feb, and that trail is less then 1/4 mile long, and can easily be bypassed, Ive never see rockswamp unpassable due to any conditions. Maybe, as it says in the article, they added "snow" snow will greatly decrease the places you can go as there are many uphill sections that become to slick, but thats it.... the only places that get flooded are inner and outer spare tire, rubicon lake (but none of the trails around it), 101 mud pit (you can get around it), the sluce(extremly hard trail even when dry)... thats about it... below is a map of paragon.... the areas I airbrushed red are the areas that would be affected by flooding.

You sure fooled me.. :D Hopefully I'll be able to make this trip.. I'll have to see how my funds look..

To give you an idea Lizard spotted a stock ranger through the rock swamp with a good amount of snow on the ground

I'm interested

See if I can get out of my "on call" that weekend...

Could my truck handle the trails?

I have a 94 Explorer XLT with 31 x 10.50 MT but no body or suspension lift yet... It has RS 9000x shocks and runs really strong and I can make skid plates for the motor and trans. Is there anything else I could do to protect the underside from Rocks. I am a welder and metal fabricator. Thanks for your reply...j.
