You didn't say if yours was a 4x2 or 4x4. Based on 4x4 and using your example of the bearing (which comes as a hub assembly) that price is not bad. See the options offered by RockAuto:

Then you have shipping on top of that. I wouldn't even consider the first one and probably not the second.

if its for the 4x4 bearing your doing great,in canada that bearing sells for closer to 400,at cost i still paid 250 and the part is made 10 minutes from where I live

That sounds like a 2WD truck there.

Contact the many online OEM Ford parts sources. Find one which will ship to the Philippines.

I suggest Tasca Ford, the biggest Ford parts source. They have wholesale prices for anyone, so the shipping is the only issue.

Get the Timken hub. Many have good things to say about them. I have bought the cheaper hubs on my truck and they don't even last a year. In fact my left front hub is humming away and needs replacing. I will be ordering the Timken unit this weekend.

It's a 2WD truck, not 4WD. Ford doesn't sell the 4WD hubs for $100 in any country. He has to be talking about 2WD bearings, of which there are two on each side, one small and one large.

Your right about that, well Ford anyway but aftermarket you can get 4x4 hubs for $50 dollars on ebay (probably junk). I just ordered a Timken hub for $115 from Amazon and as far as I have been told, Timken is what Fords uses for their OEM hubs.

Hi guys,,,,BIG mistake, I left a zero off the price of the hub bearing here,, it should have read P40,000 (US $ 1000 each ???) not $100, but you info is great, and I will go for the Timken, and my truck IS 4x4 , so thats expensive here, and I also need lower B/Joints, and Tie rod ends, and shocks to complete the deal, I have a friend returning to the U.S. next month, he will purchace my bits and send them here in a special box which we call Balik Byan, you can pack any thing into them, for families here in the Philippines, they go through customs of course, but no Tax is involved (new auto parts) and are delivered to your front door, thanks again for your help and advise........Larry

$1,000 each ...........................(fainted!)

Yeah, and this from your friendly FORD dealer here in Cagayan De Oro Mindanao, ,,Jap parts are a breeze, but old Henry,, he aint got it together here yet, I was too scared to ask for the rest of my wants ?? looks like dey gotta come from the U.S. of A ..........Larry...PS sorry Steve...you ok ???

Maybe I need to open up a Ford parts store in the Philippines !

I'm not a violent guy but I may have punched someone in the teeth if they told me $1,000 for hub bearings.
