My passenger side mirror on my sport has got a hazy spoted like film all on the mirror part :( Makes it hard to see out of. I've tried vinegar and water mix, also tried auto glass cleaner (in the can that foams when you spray it) and nothing has worked :frustrate: Anyways, do you guys have any sugestions on what else I can try to remove it?

Thanks,
Allie a.k.a. eXplorerchic ;)

no one know??

I don't have a clue, other than replacing the mirror face. Can you feel it, or is the mirror just hazy? If you can feel whatever it is on the mirror, you might try some carb or brake cleaner sprayed on a rag and see if you can get it off. If you go this route, make sure to test it in a small spot near the edge to see if it works first. That way if it doesn't or it affects the mirror it will be in a small spot that won't completly affect the mirror.

yeah i can feel it on the mirror, kind of sandy feeling...i'll try that brake cleaner thing tomorrow, thanks for the help

Try some cleaner wax like Zymol from Wal-Mart or Target. They clean up everything and gives it a good shine. I know it's not paint but it should take the hazes away.
