Anybody in Canada bought PB Blaster? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Went to Wal Mart, Canadian Tire, and a local parts store and nobody has heard of it. Live in Ontario outside of Toronto.
Would Gunk Penetrating oil do just as good?
Thanks...

I bought it at Crappy Tire here in Calgary.

whats PB blaster?

Loosens seized bolts etc. It's the stuff of legend when trying to loosen tough fasteners. I can't speak from experience because I've hardly used it, but scored a can when I saw it at CT.

wow, you learn something new every day. Its amazing that I have not heard of this stuff before. I'm in Building/Property maintenace, and a shade tree mechanic. I have people selling me all sorts of "Top of the Line" products no one has ever mentioned this. Even my contractors, who I know could use this havent heard of it. I'll have to look into this.

Studd...If you find it, let me know where to get it. Perhaps it's unavailable in Ontario.

I learned of it's value after hearing about it from a LOT of our US friends on the site. I'd never heard of Seafoam either, another great product that only recently became available up here.

Seafoam is available in Canada? Where, who sells it and how much? I'v been wanting to try it. Those damn Amercain get all the good stuff first!! :D

I had never heard of either PB Blaster or Seafoam while I lived in Canada. I moved here to Ohio last year, found Seafoam at NAPA and PB Blaster at Wal-Mart.

I get Seafoam at a chain called "Auto Value". They're all over Alberta. Not sure about elsewhere.

I got my PB Blaster at Wal Mart.......IF they don't have it on the shelf.....the store manager/buyer isn't doing their job.........ask to speak with the "person in charge of the store"........put a little bug in their ear.

It's good stuff.......when I use it........it smells like kerosene in an aerosol can........hint, wink (IF, you can't find PB).

Aloha, Mark

I get seafoam at napa, cheaper than auto value. And aerokroil(sp?) is a substance like pb blaster.

I didn't know NAPA was carrying it. Auto Value was the only one in Calgary that had it for a while. I've got an Auto Value 5 minutes from me and on my way to work to boot. The closest NAPA is about 15-20 minutes from me and pretty much out of the way. How much cheaper?

Not all NAPA stores carry Seafoam (or maybe you can bug the sales counter to get it for you). I was lucky to find it at the 2 closest napa outlets to me. I also recently found PB blaster @ Canadian tire. Again, the one nearest me had it stocked on their shelf but I went to another branch and they haven't even heard of it (or at least the store clerk I asked). PB works wonders - waaay better than regular WD40 in my opinion

Its been asked a few times... and no one has answered it... How much is the Seafoam going for? Napa and Auto value prices please.

I honestly don't remeber what I'm paying. $13/can I think. I haven't bought any in a while. I always keep one around (I've got one in the garage right now). I'm due for a cleaning.

one of my guys that comes in to the shop and restocks the oil filters and little stuff gave me a can of it
i think it sucks.... wd-40 is better!!

WD-40 isn't even a "true" pentrating oil.
Anyhow...if I can't find PB Blaster, what's a good comparable penetrating oil?
