Taylorsville N.c.

 Alright NC I'm in Taylorsville about 20 mins from Statesville or Hickory, and I'd be willing to go to just about anywhere my old stock ex will make it.Just one thing I'll have to wait to around fall due to recovering from surgery with another to go.By that time I"ll have found out whats exactly wrong with my tranny and I'll be healed and ready to go.Let me know if you plan anything later in the year.

In winston area

Any member from the Outer Banks. Saws a big red, 1st gen X (i think) up at Corolla - Timbuck II while on vacation. Had Island 4x4 or Island Offroad stickers and NC plates. Riding on 38's? with a big SOA. just seeing if it's a member

Trinity and Boone and I would be willing to take anyone who wanted to go down to Uwharrie. I run there almost once a month or so but I am done for the season now since they close Dec. 15

the drive from raleigh is between 2 and 3 hours, depending a lot on traffic really. last time we left at like 4:30 on a friday afternoon from raleigh, and it took us a good 3 hours without stopping, and then comin back we left early sunday afternoon, stopped to eat lunch and we got back in 2 hours 15 minutes including the lunch stop.

No way it takes 3 hours to get to Uwharrie from Raleigh. Takes me 2 1/2 hours to get from Apex to south side of Charlotte. Last time I went to Uwharrie I think it only took like 1 hr 45 minutes, and that was in the Teal monster (YJ on 38"s). Theres no way I'd take a stock Ex through there.

Heres what the trails look like for those who haven't been out there:

when are you guys planning on going? I have been to uwharrie several times with a couple of friends from school.and let me tell you if you are looking for some difficult 4 wheeling than go right after it rains. When it is dry its pretty easy. My friends would probably be interested too, if you dont mind some moderately modified jeep grand cherokees going along. but ya let me know when you guys are thinking about going

Hello All,
My wife and I are researching now about moving to the Raleigh area, It is good to hear there are places to get muddy. Are there many places to ride ATVs and Dirtbikes. I currently live in Northern VA. and there is no place around here unless you know some one who has allot of land. Any information you can give me about the area would be greatly appreciated. Also any information on fishing in the area would be great to. Thanks

i'm about an hour and a half from raleigh, but i hear there is alot to do in that area. As far as fayetteville there are a good amount of things to do if you go and look for them. There are 40,000 troops assigned here so there's a good amount of recreational activiities. Although if you ask any young single guy they'll tell you its boring becuase there are'nt a million clubs around.

hey im from wilmington, and very game for some four wheeling. Blue steel if your from wilmington I know you go out to the north end a lot at carolina beach and do some 4 wheeling. I know I do anyway. lol only place i know of around here.
