Pep boys headlights, upgraded harness?

At pep boys i saw these upgraded harnesses that i guess u replace your old harnesses with and u use these super xenon headlights and plug it into them and they are supposed to b super bright. I was wondering if these would b the same as this one explorer i saw with super bright headlights that are like a bright white-blue color??? I bought some silverstars and returned them, now im runnin these purple bulbs that i bought from circuit city thinkin they were gonna b purple but were jus like the silverstars. I wana bright blue-white light but dont wanna pay for HID

Hey man the harness at pepboys really isn't an upgrade just a silly plug. go to suvlights.com and pick up the harness there. This is a complete upgrade cables, relays, ect. I have it, and so do a few other on the board. It is worth the extra money. Pop a paid of Silver Stars in there too and bingo, white bright light.

how much is all those light upgrades? And u said if i do those upgrades on that site and use silverstars itll b a nice light? i was lookin more for a blue-ish lite....

ok i jus looked at the site, what all should i order. I see the universal kit is 55$ plus 8 shipping. is that all i need? is it hard to install

Check it out. It doesn't really matter what light bulb you put in. This kit will make it brighter. It provides more voltage to the head lights than the stock system. They sell the blue lights on ebay but the light output doesn't seem to be as intense as white light which mimics sunlight. here is a link to my POS car domain page. It does sound like he is really going for the HID look. You know as well as I do the only way to get it is with HID's. Have you tried the Harness from SUV lights? It really did make a huge difference. This ain't like the "Tornado".

That's the one you need 9007/hb5 kit. It drops right in like it was made for it.

yeah i do wanna go wit the HID look but dont wanna spend the tons of money for a full HID conversion. Thanks ipoze for all your help. In the next week when I get paid im going to order that kit. Thanks a lot man u been a big help!
