Once again, I have another question about exhaust...
What I have: '99, Explorer Sport (2 door), SOHC 4.0L
I am at a loss. I have tried to find a bolt on cat-back setup for this truck and I can't find one anywhere. My budget is requiring me to stay below $400, so I thought I'd go with Gibson, Dynomax, or Magnaflow. No one, not even Flowmaster or Borla seems to make a cat-back for a 2 door Sport with the SOHC engine! I called Gibson and talked to their tech and he said I could try the system meant for the "small 6", but he didn't guarantee it would work with the existing system for the SOHC.
Does anyone have my setup and a cat-back that you bought? I'm almost wondering if the stock system is good enough and exhaust companies didn't feel it was necessary to design a better one?
I've looked all around. If anyone knows specific part numbers or links to the system I should get, it would be very helpful. I'm going nuts trying to find the perfect parts! Thanks everyone in advance for any help you can offer! -Mike
