hey everybody. i dont have any experience with performance MAS's so i thought i'd ask you guys. i already have a KKM intake and will shortly have a flowmaster exhaust. would a performance MAS be worth it? i dont plan on getting a chip because i dont feel like paying fmore for 91 octane. thanks.

I'd get a bbk 66 mm throttle body before getting the larger MAS.....though getting both will help even more :D Seriously, though....I think last time I checked the stock throttle body was more restrictive than the stock MAS, so the TB might be a better buy....at least for now.

While we're talking about throttle bodies....do this test, too. With the engine off, either put something on your gas pedal that will hold it to the floor, or have a friend do it, and then take off the tube going to the TB and see if your throttle plate is completely horizontal....if it isn't....do the throttle cable mod listed on this board if you haven't already...that will help too.

My throttle plate wasn't even close to being open all the way when I had it floored...I fixed that right away ;)

they have new throttle bodies for a '99 sohc?
