Picked up Another Project....

My dad and I picked up this '71 FJ40. Came with most of the stuff, minus motor,trans and t-case. no hard top though. got it pretty cheap.

Well a 350 will bolt right in, but we're not chevy fans

My dad is thinking the T-bird drivetrain. 5.0 and what ever trans is in there. Then use the zuki t-case. .....Don't ask

Something from a Zuki drivetrain and a V8 don't seem to match if you ask me. Looks like a fun project....just don't let it get in the way of making the Explorer drivable.

Have your dad adjust his dosage, it's causing him hallucinations..
