Check out my new Alpine CDA-9835 that I just installed. This bad boy is pretty pimp compared to my run of the mill Sony that I used to have. I just spent 45 min. with the manual and I still don't know how to do everything on it.

Hopefully I'll get XM soon, but I need to pick up a tuner box off eBay first. Let me know what you think.

Nice!!

I recognize that HU! Yeah there are so many options with this thing. When I disconnect my battery I still have to pull out my manual to find out how to get all my settings back! Have you set the EQ / crossover yet?

Loosk good, how much did you pay for the HU? Oh, and how many watts RMS?

I have the 9833; too cheap to spend $100 for the Biolite display. These units are nice; woke my entire system up.

Isn't possible to save all the settings--eq, crossover, time correction, etc.--on CD by using Alpine's iPersonalize site so that one doesn't have to tweak it every time power is unhooked?

Yeah you can save it with ipersonalize but hell I'm not to that stage yet.

I haven't found the right EQ or crossover settings yet :p

DANG!!!!!! that is a nice Radio!

how much does one of them run??

Im kinda lazy to search, so whats the specs on that bad boy?

I got mine on eBay for just under $400. I think it's $570 in stores.

I got mine on eBay too for $393 shipped.

Yeah .. I know how to set it and all, just not what to set it to :)

you guys are adjusting so many things that you'd want them all saved on a computer?

with my hu all i do to tune it after the memory is reset is turn on pro logic II, and set the adf to "3".

I haven't adjusted the crossover or EQ, I'm sure those can deliver better sound. Besides that all I lose are my presets. You can go on Alpine's site and set timing and all those things so you have them on a CD for when you unplug the battery. I bet Clarion doesn't have that :smoke:
