Pin Stripe removal

How would one go about removing the pin stripe? Is it a simple peal off or something more complicated?

3m makes a wheel that removes it that you use on a drill, or a heat gun will work.

Depending on how long the stripe has been there and how deteriorated it is, you may be able to pull it right off- would just have to remove the adhesive residue. The wheel Chris posted will work if its more stubborn. A heat gun works great- be careful, too much heat and you can bubble paint!

I just did mine, and the molding too. I used a heat gun and paint scraper. Just be carefull to not scratch the paint or get the heat gun too close.

I've experienced good results using a hair dryer. Then use some adhesive remover to get the glue off.

The wheel works great but MIND YOUR SPEED !!!!!!!!!! Too fast and say good bye to the paint.
