Pioneer GM-X972 Bridged Mono Amp

2 channel means it's non-mono, but it can still be used for one sub, meaning mono. For bridging, the terminals should have a diagram of what you need to do to bridge it, since there are 2+ and 2-, it'll show you where to hook your sub up to. 400 watts is the MAX wattage.

so basically each subwoofer has to have its own channel? if that's true do you think if i give each of my 12" 165 watts RMS it will be loud enough to be heard outside of my explorer?
thanks

Well it depends what volume you keep it at. I have a CDX-MP70 and I keep the volume at 2, which is already loud, but since X's don't have actual trunks like a car does, it won't be heard as easily as a car. But it depends on the subs you'll be using. It would be louder if you gave each sub its own amp, which is what I have. Not sure of my RMS. If it could be heard outside anyways, it would sound rattley unless you have Dynomat or something to its equivelant.
