Which Scorpions are you talking about? They have Scorpion sport truck versions, all seasons, and the all terrains. I have 4 Scorpion AT tires on it right now. They've been on for about a year now, and I can say they are good tires for my needs. On road they work rather well. They did fine in the snow and ice this year, but we never really had anything over 4 to 6 inches, so I don't know about deep snow. I like them in the rain, no loss of traction at all in high speeds. As far as the important stuff, they work better than most other ATs in thick mud, especially when compared to the BFG ATs. That's about all there is around here, mud, trees, grass, clay, etc. About the only bad thing I can think of is that they flat spot more than most tires I've tried in recent years. No clue on treadlife yet, still have a while for that.

Rhett - There was a short discussion on Scorpion AT a while back. You might want to do a search on them.

I too have tha Scorpion AT since January. Love them on the road, in the snow and ice and in rainy conditions. Still waiting to get them on the dirt and into the mud.

In my Explorer Express catalog they had news clips on the Explorer X's, and all of them run the Scorpions, and Motor Trend said they do good and are as quick as Mustangs.

ive had the scorion zeros

i ran the scorpion zero tires on my 98 xlt and they ran great for street use. i had 255/60 r15's. i would not get them for offroad but they do give a more stable ride onroad though.

Scorpions are Killer

I replaced my 16" Firestones with Scorpion A/T. I hope the 16s will be included on the recall soon, I wasn't going to wait for a blow-out to happen. The Scorpions have a very smooth and quiet ride on the freeway. You don't even feel the bumps on the California fog lines when changing lanes. I took them off-road in a very muddy field and they performed very well. I am very pleased with the tires and highly recommend them. The Scorpions come stock on Range Rovers, which are at least a $55k vehicle. This says something for the tires. Furthermore the A/Ts were only 90 bucks a tire.

I had 235/75/15 Scorpion ATs and now I have 255/55/18 Scorpion STs. I love em. Miles ahead of Firestone.

Hey Sean, how is the ride as far as comfort (potholes, speedbumps, etc.) with those 18's on there? Do you leave them on all year or are they just for the warmer, drier months?

There are plenty of potholes here in NYC and it handles them very well, only a very slight difference in ride quality. When I put the wheels on, I also put on some Monroe Reflex shocks at the same time.

I plan to leave them on all year, but I may change my mind.

pirelli scorpions AT

I got my 31 x 10.5 x 15 pirelli scorpion ATs on my 96 sport back in march. I love them since I got such a great deal on them. I bought them from Sears in Pittsburgh for $69.99 a piece. 31s for 69.99 especially pirellis is a great deal.

I like them alot. They look great, lots of tread, and are very good in the rain.
