PITA green ground bolts/ wiring help

some of you that are familiar with the ranger/explorer dash may wonder which relay box this is...

and finally, one of three wiring piles. originally i planned to use a complete harness from a 96 ranger, but i really wanted to keep all the goodies that i had gotten so used to with the donor truck, so then i tried to match the wiring in the explorer 212M connector, after fighting with that for a week (most of the fight caused by a very brittle connector) i tossed that connector, emptied all the wires from another 212M connector and started from scratch, circuit by circuit, labeling each one, then routing each one to its respective component, 84 circuits on that plug alone. save for a few that i wont be using ie: moonroof, ABS, rear wiper and a few others, but i did save the lead for the rear window defrost grid, that will get put to good use for the mirrors

yea i opted to just tap into licence plate circuit. i went to pullapart the other day and yanked a taillight harness from tht random ass 4 relay box, back. spliced it into my harness and the running lights worked over the brown wire, but when i went to splice it into ranger taillight harness, it stopped working.

had a BIG show this weekend so i was kinda rushed so the whole harness is tucked in the hole behind driver where jump seats are suppose to be.

thanks for your help. I may have a few more questions when i go to clean that harness out.

depending on what options you elect to keep for the ranger, you may not need that "random ass" relay box
