My God man, just drive the Honda! This is the only viable solution that exists for you, period. You have FOURTEEN pages of suggestions and advice (and counting) in this thread. If you can't find a solution by now the only one left is to drive the darn Honda. Or get another job. Or eat ramon noodles so you don't need a second job.$240CDN wow. How is this not a fire hazard? And it say's it's Unversal fit, it looks way too big for the 96 Explorer Oil pan. This would almost be touching the ground.
being honest, not too sure, but seems to be the answer to your questions. it seems like they are for track use, so it seems they can take the heat?
to test, can you see this link RJS Racing Equipment 22000101: Black Sportsman Engine Diaper - JEGS High Performance
The whole racing-engine-diaper thing boggles my mind, LOL. Wonders never cease. My God man, just drive the Honda! This is the only viable solution that exists for you, period. This works. I'm reading more on it, looks legit. I may give the manufacturer a call tomorrow to inquire more about it.being honest, not too sure, but seems to be the answer to your questions. it seems like they are for track use, so it seems they can take the heat?

Maybe at this point you just like the attention?
i think eddie may be referencing that there is 14 pages of suggestions, and none (until the diaper) have been taken. it could come off as asking the same question over and over again, with getting different answers but taking none. there comes a point to make up the mind about the solution, and many have pointed out the only :"real" fix is to change the gasket. however, maybe there is an aspect me, or everyone else is missing. What? I am driving the Honda.
I'll bet good money the diaper idea gets crapped on (or is it "in"?) too. Spending $240CND on an engine fanny pack will never happen. I doubt he can install it properly, if at all. Odds are good that this diaper will either be wrapped around one, or more, of the drive shafts or in the serpentine belt and pulleys or maybe melted by the exhaust manifolds. I am not trying to be mean but by now I think it can be said that there is no solution he will take that will allow him to drive the Explorer AND keep his current pizza delivery job.i think eddie may be referencing that there is 14 pages of suggestions, and none (until the diaper) have been taken. it could come off as asking the same question over and over again, with getting different answers but taking none. there comes a point to make up the mind about the solution, and many have pointed out the only :"real" fix is to change the gasket. however, maybe there is an aspect me, or everyone else is missing.
It doesn’t work. It’s for a race car. It’s not for a street car. It’s made to keep oil and parts off the track when you have a block, or other major failure. This is not to catch leaking oil. It’s not intended to be ran with oil in it. It’s a precautionary safety measure. This works. I'm reading more on it, looks legit. I may give the manufacturer a call tomorrow to inquire more about it.
