no need for negative comments

Actually it wasn't a negative comment, it was an opinion. This isn't FaceBook where you collect "Likes" and there's no thumbsdown choice. I stated my opinion without disparaging remarks. Not everyone here has to like everything everyone does.

Here's a pic of mine with the center cap done. Dirty I know. Only suggestion I have for anyone looking to dip wheels, have them static balanced first with tape weight if possible. Otherwise if the weight comes off you'll see the original finish underneath. Trial and error lol need to rebalance, and respray mine.

Do you need to take your wheels off of the explorer to plasti dip them??

You don't need to but it's recommended so you don't get the dip on your brakes and rotors if you don't what you do it tape off the rotors or use plastic bag if you can fit your hand/arm between the hole of the wheel

This is really cool....looks pretty much void of orange-peel. How tough is this stuff? Meaning, how well does it hold up? Also, does it come in silver?

About a month now. So far so good. To clean it I just spray bleach white (degreaser) let it sit and hose it off. Dirt comes right off. I have drilled slotted rotors so I doubt there's much if any brake dust on there. I've seen plasti-dip in black, white, pink and green, maybe even gray, but no silver.

Go to dipyourcar.com they have a list of all the colors avaliable
