00 explorer xlt v8 awd... plasti dipped my wheels.. and eventually plan on doing front and back bumpers as well as the body line.. but for now here are some before and after.. tell me what you think!

plasti dipped rattle can.. matte black about 11 bucks a can at menards.. i think it is a 12 oz can? either way i used probably a little over one can.. kinda had to keep switching between two cans because the can kept clogging up.. but i did about 3 light coats then about 3 more coats gradually getting heavier.. next up will be bumpers!

i did not tape of my tires like i should have.. that stuff is sticking pretty good.. im having hard time taking over spray off the white lettering of my tires.. even tried pressure washing it today.. nothing.. so once i clean that up a bit it will look much nicer..

try spraying it on thicker on the tires, letting it dry and then you'll have something to peel off instead of just overspray. Wheels look good!
