Okay guys i need help removing the plastic trim that runs along the side of the drivers seat that covers the lower part of the reclining lever. Mine has it missing, and my work is about to trade in their 2000 ford explorer and said I can take anything I need off of it, as long as they can drive it to the dealership. lol.

So anyone know how to pop this thing off? I would rather not give it a go and ruin my one freebie.

There are screws holding it on, but they are in weird places.
When I replaced the handle on the reclining part I found it easier to just unbolt the seat from the floor for easier access.

Dang. That sucks. Thanks for the info though.

Here are some pics of the underside, showing screws and clips that need to be popped in order to get them off... (also the one on the back of the trim by rear seat passenger's feet)

Lots of people miss these clips, thus the way it's split... Just a tension clip. Lift the band and it pops off...
