If you do not lift the bumper then there will be a pretty ugly gap between bumper and body.

So then it is possible to use the brackets from the 853 right? I've got a drill press, and I've seen "blueprints" on here for the brackets that I'm supposed to use- can't I just use the drill press and make the 853's brackets work?

IF YOU GET what I said in my first post on this thread, then you'll be OK.
That will be for the front bumper ONLY.

The Rear Bumper brackets are the ones that need to be modified to work. They are basically flat plates that need some new holes drilled. thats all....
