I am looking for a new basket/safari rack since today is my birthday. I had almost 100% decided on a proline rack:

Then I came upon a problem, lights. I had always envisioned getting a rack with 4 hella 500 driving lights in front of it. However, I cannot for the life of me find a rack that will fit my rig that has light mounts and also is affordable. So what I have determined is that there are three ways I could go with this:

1. I can just buy the proline rack and get a lightbar, which I haven't been able find either.
2. Find a fairly cheap rack that will work and I can mount lights on it.
3. Get the proline one and figure out some way to put lights on these thingys:

I would prefer number 2 or 3.

Thanks for all of your help,
Kendal

I have a surco rack and made my own mounts out of 1 1/2x1/4 alumin. bar stock I bought at home depot. made L and riveted to the rack bars at the top n bottom work out real good , there was no way I was givin 50$ for a pair of mounts I made them for 15$ for 4

Thanks for the response, I originally had looked at the Surco s5060 but for $275, I figured I would stick with something else. Does it mount to the factory rails, or are other pieces needed?

just looked at the rack u want , go to a cb shop or truck stop and buy antenna mounts that can go around the bars and wala light mounts

think we paid 265$ and came with the rail mounts rhat fit into your stock rails

Okay, now then after further looking at the suco rack, I decided I do not like what minimal flooring it has. (Only 3 slats running from front to back.) I also looked some more and found these little puppies:

There are also others available in 1/4" increments between 1" and 2". Now that I have found these and pretty much decided on the proline rack, I am faced with my final dilemma:
I cannot find what size tubing the proline is made of! I cannot believe the terrible luck I have had with this project! So I guess I will go off to do some more searching.
