Hey guys,

I really need your help on this one ... I plugged in a 2004 4.0 SOHC engine wiring harness into a 2003 4.0 SOHC PCM.
I just need to know if this will work after I replace my 2003 air box with a 2004 + air box
The only reason I'm doing this is because some dumb a** at Ford decided to changed the electral connection on the 2004 + injectors.
There was only two differences in the engine wiring harness besides the 6 injector plugs.
1. there's an extra electric plug that plugs into the tail light wiring harness. (I'm 99% sure that's what it's for.)
2. The 2004 MAF plug is different.
Will the 2003 PCM operate the 2004 + MAF?
I still have my 2003 wiring harness but I would need to spend $318 on 6new 2003 injectors to make this work because my old injectors are 200 miles away from me now.
I read somewhere that in 2004 that Ford changed the injectors from 19 lbs to 24 lbs ... If this is the case, I guess my 2003 PCM won't give the 24 lb injectors enough fuel.
Should I just bite the bullet and drive 200 miles to get my old 2003 injectors, fuel rails and lower intake off of my old engine that I turned in as a core?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Brian
