Im curious too. Summit racing has some good deals going on wires but im not sure which ones are garbage. I really dont want to spend $100 on motorcraft but if they are the only ones that are good then I guess ill have to.

Any of these wires good?

Just did a Screamin' Deamon coil, live wires and Motorcraft Platinums. Satisfied so far. Maybe a slight increase in gas mileage, but at 100k that's expected from this change.

for a 5.0?

I've got the msd coil packs and didn't notice any difference at all, the demon packs are for the v6's. Our ignition systems are pretty good from the factory. I would just get new wires and plugs. Also get the motorcraft plug wires, they're the only ones with the metal heat shields that you'll want to keep from burning plug wires up, Especially if you want headers in the future.
