There is a popping noise coming from my front end when I turn at low speeds. It could be the u joints, but how could I figure it out. I just replaced the balljoints, all new steering, so what could it be?

is it only happen when you are in 4 wheel drive?

radius arm bushings.

radius arm bushings.

Yeah it could be the radius arm bushings. Mine did a lot f poping and clunking before I replaced the radius arm bushings.

Nope does it in four wheel drive and in 2wd. The radius arm bushings were recently replaced along with the brackets. Duff arms are in the mail coming to my house as we speak so if thats the problem then it will be fixed shortlty. I dont think thats what it is though. It only happens at slower speeds and when I turn. Like backing out of a parking spot for example. I really don't know what it could be. Pretty much the whole front end has been replaced so im stumped.

Might be the spring coils hitting each other. I have some popping as well, & that's where the sound is coming from on my X.

Even new radius arm bushings can pop.

You usin' polys or rubber?

Yea, I was thinking it could be something with the springs. I think the bushings are rubber though. I hate the stock radius arms so they are coming off soon.
