I noticed the last few days that when I'm driving down the road at 65 my RPM'S will rise for just a second from 1000 to about 1500 RPM's as if the tranny may be slipping. It then drops back down. It is nothing major yet and I'm not a firm believer in changing tranny fluid at 200,000 miles as this usually will get them slipping badly if they are going. The fluid doesn't smell burnt but something is definitely wrong. Could a plugged filter or TC problem cause this or is the inevitable happening? I've had the vehicle for three years and the fluid looked good so I never have had it changed.
