Powder coated rims in Upstate NY, am I wasting money?

I do not have alot of cash floating aroung for $100 a piece rims for my 96 X, so I was looking to spend half that and get 15x8 powder coated rims. All I was wondering since they salt the crap out of everything up here, are my rims going to be rusted in from one winter season?

No the powder coated wheels will not rust unless you chip the paint off somewhere which will be hard. Just don't hit any curbs.
