I have a 94 4 door XLT that needs a new driver seat. I was thinking of using some leather EB power seats. I haven't found and power wires around the carpet cutout in my Explorer. I would think I have the connecter somewhere, but I just need to pull up the carpet to find it. Does anyone know if this is correct or do I have to run the positive and ground wire from the fuse box? Also, what year seats would fit a 94 Explorer?

I put my power seats from my 91 in my 92 when I got it and tapped into the powerwire for the stock amp. You could do this whether or not you use the amp, just might want to turn off the radio when you use it. The line is on the passengerside under the plastic molding, there is also another plastic cover to the wire channel. Its easiest to do if you just take both those plastic pieces out. Also I had my seats out when I did it. Then just ground to a driver seat bolt. I also hardwired a 3-way 12V lighter adapter underthere to plug in my bagphone.
