This is (technically) for a Honda Prelude (my daily-driver/money-maker), but I assume it's basically the same for all applications.

I'm just wondering what's involved in a rebuild. Is it just replacing the o-rings and seals, or a lot more components than that? I'm unable to find a rebuild kit, but I have found replacemrnt seals/o-rings for it and wanted to know it that's all I'd need.

Thanks,
Eric

I know the pumps are expensive, but the "rebuild" kits available for most vehicles are actually just reseal kits, and there is alot moer to "rebuilding" a pump than replacing the seals. If the only problem you have is a leak resealing it may fix your problem. If you are having any problems with the pump itself the only way to fix the problem is to replace it.

Look around at junkyards in your area. I picked up a used pump for my Explorer for $25 and it works great!
