I'm having problems with a setup and getting a signal into the speaker. I have power to the amp and know that the amp works because i set it up in another car. I'm using a stock radio with a RCA in-line converter box, which is hooked up to the speaker wires of a speaker that currently works.
I know that the RCA's aren't the problem because I tried another set.

The set up was working and then stopped working all of a sudden.

I'm lost for the next step to solving this issue, so any info would help.

thanks

The amp getting power is just because it's hooked to your battery. How's the power to your reciever? Connections loose?

Any additional lights lit on the amp? (high current, etc)

Also check to see if perhaps you have two bits of frayed speaker wire touching one another, either at the RCA tap or at the amp connection. I've seen that ground the signal out as well.
