Hello everyone, I'm new to the site so bare with me. 1996 XLT Explorer

I read some of the older forums concerning window problems and am hopefully narrowing it down.
The driver control nor the 3 passenger controls will do nothing, I checked the 30 amp fuse in the power box under the hood, it looked fine, I found the black box under the dash which appears two of the relays in there could affect the windows, however., someone posted it was very unlikly the relays would be bad, so I havn't replaced them yet. I'm thinking it is either a broken wire or the master control switch, I found a thread that showed how to remove the door panel to access the master control switch, my gut feeling is this is where the problem is. Has anyone replaced the master control window switch and how hard is it to do, I'm just average at being mechanically inclined, I think I can handle removing the door panel, but not sure what to do after I have the switch exposed.

Thanks in advance
Brian
