Hi Gang.
1996 explorer XLT 2wd 4 door 6 cyl. Just replaced the bushings/plugs in the drivers side window motor and now the window is once again working.
Unfortunately when the window bottoms out or tops out the motor continues to keep driving causing that KLUNKA KLUNKA sound that I have seen described here.
My question is , what tells the motor to stop driving ?
Is there an adjustment or a circuit that I should be looking for.
I'm sorry if this has been discussed and solved but I have spent more than a day now trying different search criteria .
Much appreciation
Tony
