I have a 2000 Explorer. A vandal broke my driver side mirror. I replaced with used. Because it was -20F, and I didn't care if the driver side mirror was power, I cut the cable from mirror. Now Power Windows and Roof are not working. By cutting, how did I disable windows? How can I remedy the situation? Also, since the above, the
AWD HI and AWD LO indicators on dash are flashing 6 times every couple of minutes. Related?

Welcome, and those items should be unrelated. You may have A4WD, but not AWD, only 4WD has a high and low, and dash lights. The sunroof power comes down the "A" pillar from the same overhead console power. The window power is not part of the mirror harness, it is common for a break to happen in the door jamb area of the large bundle of wires. The window power wire is a 12 gauge blue/black wire. Do any of the windows work?

None of the windows work. The passenger power mirror does.

Pull the LF door panel off to get to the window wiring. Check carefully the blue/black wire for power, with the ignition to accessory. Likely there is no power there, then work your way to it in the wires of the LF kick panel. If you can find power in it there, than there is likely a break in the wire around the door jamb. To more easily work on those door jamb wires, loosen the one 10mm bolt in the connector. The connector will then come apart, and you can get to the wires better.

I'm going to guess that when you cut the cable, you blew a fuse. That cable has a circuit that is constantly hot.

I think they are on the same circut (fuse).

The mirrors are on a tiny 5 amp circuit. Of course check the fuses, that is the first thing which should have been done.

Where did you cut this cable? Are you sure you cut the right one? Did you tape off the end?

The 4WD indicators have something to do with the transfer case.

your 4w flashing is probably the result of the torque relay not getting any power.

Thanks All!! It was just a fuse. I have learned lesson!
