Could someone point me in the right direction for locating the appropriate 2 hoses to use in this project? Thie is the product where you attach a garden hose to one end and 2 hoses coming from the firewall to flush the old antifreeze.

Thanks in advance,

The heater hoses on 5.0L Explorers are quite short - Ford used metal tubes on this vehicle from the front of the engine along the passenger side valve cover to the back of the engine. the hoses connect from there to the firewall.

So is this project a no go?

Is there anyone here with a 5.0 explorer that has used this product?

I did this using 2 -1/2" brass double barbed nipples and a garden hose which I cut in half.

Remove the coolant bypass valve and there is your connection point for the 2 hoses.

Be careful with the water flow--too much pressure might cause a gasket to burst.

Look at the sticky section of the under the hood section. I did a video how to on this. CLR is the best flush you can use by far.
