Me And My Fiance Recently Moved From Sc To Wv And The Weather Is Alot Colder Here Than It Is There And In The Mornin's When I Go To Crank My Explorer Up It Wont Crank It Act's Like The Battery Is Dead? What Could Be Causing This... The Battery I Have In It Is Smaller Than It Is Supposed To Be For That Truck But I Aint Never Had Probs With It Bfore....i Recently Replaced My Battery Terminals Bc The Old Ones Were Broken...i Thought That Would Be The Problem But So Far No Luck After It Get's Goin It Will Crank Right Up....i Want To Know What The Prob Could Be Or If I Could Take It Inside During The Night And Let The Battery Stay Warm?
Thanks

Did you replace the wires or just the terminals? When you say you have a smaller battery are saying the cranking amps are less then what the manual states?? If you think its the battery most places will check it for free to see if its keeping a charge.

Picture the battery getting smaller and the engine getting bigger as it gets colder, cold cranking is a big deal but it can't hurt to get your system checked.
