problem with anti-theft system

ok so today i replaced my front headlights in my 1997 explorer xlt, and i went to start it today and when i turned the key, my theft light starded to flash and then my door locks started to lock and unlock by themselves, and there is a ticking noise coming from the sterring column. so if anyone knows whats going on and can help me out with it i would really appreicate it.

Mine occasionally does the flashing if the battery is acting weak, If I turn it
off and restart, it's ok.

Did you have the engine off headlights on for a while?

no i havent had it started all day, after i put the new headlights in, i turned them on to make sure that they turned on, and then i went to start it later and thats when all of this started happening
