Problem with Pro-M mass air flow sensor

I ordered a Pro-M 70mm MAS from explorerexpress.com and when I tried to install it the plug on my wiring harness doesnt match the sensor plug. I called explorerexpress, and Pro-M, and they are telling me I need a new plug on my wiring harness and it will cost me more money!! Nobody else seems to have had this problem, please help! I think they just sent me the wrong part but they don't seem to think so.

Did you order it for a first gen? What's your plug look like? All you really have to do is go to a junkyard and pull a matching plug off an X, then attach that.

Yep. The harness may be different but the wires still have the same function, etc. But, for the price that you paid, seems like the correct harness should be included. Send it back and tell them to get it right. You as a consumer don't have to accept the wrong part.

Apparently they sent me one for a 95 Explorer, which has a 4 pin rectangular harness. I sent it back, they are sending me a new one, problem resolved.
