Problems with JET Performance Chip

Has anyone had any problems with the JET chip. I purchased one for my 99 and had nothing but problems. I made sure all the contacts were clean, and I also reset the computer. It would cause my Explorer to die while I was going down the freeway at 70mph or so. This kinda became a problem. Also, it would cause sudden acceleration while I was at stop lights. So I took the thing back. I was just wondering if anyone else had similar problems with it.

I have a 98 Explorer with the Jet chip. I have not had any problems with the chip other than it not giving me any more power.

I noticed no power increase at all. I also drag race sometimes up at the track and actually got slower times with it.
